50 ml
1. Surface Preparation
* Ensure the wood surface is clean and smooth. Sand lightly with fine-grit sandpaper. Product is suitable for most raw wood types. The surface should be dry and free of any moisture, with a moisture content not exceeding 10%.
Can be used on MDF but curing time should be increased by approximately one hour to pull into the surface before heat activation.
2. Application
* Apply the medium using a stencil brush or freehand with a high-quality paintbrush. A sponge or sponge roller can also be used but be sure to dab off any excess product. Apply a thin consistent, even layer over the surface. Make sure the layer is smooth and uniformly distributed.
3. Curing
* Drying times can vary based on ambient conditions. As a general guideline, after application the pattern will fade / disappear. Allow a further 20 minutes for the product to dry and more for MDF. To cure faster items can be placed in the sun / blown with a hairdryer.
4. Heat Application
* After the product has dried, apply direct heat using a heat gun on high setting (avoid heat application for extended periods on as to not burn the surface around the desired design) over the areas where the medium has been applied. This will activate the pattern and create a scorched effect. Be careful not to burn the wood too much unless that is part of the desired outcome.
5. Storage
* Store the product in a cool, dry place (such as a refrigerator). Proper storage will ensure a shelf life of at least 12 months.
6. Cleaning
* Brushes and stencils can be cleaned with warm soapy water or Cameo Décor Stencil and Brush Cleaner.
Note: This product will not damage your stencil, but it’s best to clean the stencil immediately after use.
